Daniela Castañeda is one of our PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors with a deep love for teaching diving and exploring the underwater world. While she originally pursued a career as an engineer, Daniela decided in 2017 to travel the world and become a scuba diving professional. She now lives and works in nature every day, “making happy bubbles” with students and divers.
Beginners and experienced divers alike are welcome to take courses with Daniela Castañeda. Her patient and warm approach makes learning comfortable for new divers, while her extensive knowledge and experience benefit those who want to continue improving their diving skills or become diving professionals themselves.
Daniela Castañeda has logged close to 3,000 dives and has taught about 300 students in many countries, including her home country of Chile, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Mexico, where she explored cavern and cave diving. She currently resides in Roatán, Honduras.
